Having trouble with scrapebox....

Ok, I don't know what is going on and I can't get a straight answer. I've been looking all over for the last 3 days and so I'm asking for your help.

For some reason SB won't scrape Google for me anymore.

It's not proxies, I have private dedicated ones and to make sure that they weren't banned I asked for fresh new ones from my provider and still SB is having the issue.

I've tested the proxies in scrapebox and they pass the google test.

I even tried scraping with my home IP and no luck.

I'm using a custom foot print: intitle:."blahblah" " -"comments closed" "leave a comment"

It's not working. Am I doing something wrong with the ":."?

I even tried clicking on "wordpress" for the auto footprint and nothing turns up.

It's weird, Google shows no activity, Yahoo and Bing use a crap load of bandwidth but return like 100 results.

What could be the issue?

Just tried doing everything on a completely different computer, my friend has SB and had the same problem. I grabbed a screen shot.

I had it setup so it was at 5 connections for all of search engines and as you can see after 45seconds nothing had happened and the only one left was big G but again no results.

I have a list of 45 keywords loaded too so I should have at least got 1 result from one of the SE.

P.s I can never get anything from AOL I always get that error...

your footprint should like something like this:

intitle:blahblah "comments closed" AND "leave a comment"

Thanks for the feedback, I tried that and nothing came up from Google.

I don't get it, I've been using SB for almost a year and have never run into this. I contacted their support too to see if they can help but am waiting for a reply since I just emailed only a couple of hours ago.

I know that there is a "debug mode" but I don't know how to export any log files to see what's going on.

For sure, as soon as I hear from support I will post back. I have been playing around all night with the same results, I've tried so many different variations that I don't know what else to do.

OK, get the exact footprint and paste it straight into google and see how many you get.
Sometimes it's single quote against double or such stupid thing.

Also - use many many more keywords to make it worth while!

I've been creating my footprints in the google search bar but I went ahead and tried a new one for this test.

I also want anyone who has scrapebox to please try this to see if it's just me.

"2..50 comments"-"comments closed" "best" AND "coupons"

Keyword in SB: coupons (I know, only 1 but I should still get something back)

I ran SB and it returned 0 results.

i too have the same problem in scrapebox. Though when I try the same footprints on google, they work. Just not on scrapebox. Nearly gave up on scrapebox because of this.

Ok, so I have been messing around with: "2..50 comments"-"comments closed" "best" AND "coupons"

and then I take out the: "2..50 comments" I get results now for big G.

Can someone please tell me why the "2..50 comments" isn't playing nice in SB.

In the browser the results stop on page 55 (55 x 10 Results per page is 550-560 results)

In ScrapeBox:

So that's 100% correct, it doesn't have any problem handling "2..50 comments".

Thanks for posting the image of SB too! I think I see my issue, I'm putting my footprint in the box above the keywords area. You have it flipped in the picture.

I'm sort of confused now. Do I put custom footprints in the top box or the keywords box?

If in the keywords where do I put my keywords? In along with the footprint?

Sorry about these questions if they are very basic, I just haven't seen the footprint where you put it.

It makes no difference, putting a query in to the footprint box or the keyword box both do the same thing. When you put something in both, it combines the footprint with every entry in the keyword box.

Thanks for posting the video, the only conclusion that I can come to after seeing your screenshots and the video now is that there is something wrong on my end, and that it's not scrapebox itself. I will just keep playing around and hopefully get back up and running. I'm going to make a video of what's happening to me and PM you.

Ok so what I did in the video was test my proxies with the new proxy settings so it could test google, then I reset all the settings so SB would be in the best condition to handle my tests. I have the latest version installed as well.

After the testing you can see I ran a few tests and came up with no results. For the sake of the experiment I was just trying to harvest from google.

The only time I did scrape anything was at the very end when I didn't try and inurl: command.

That is very strange, i've never seen that before. When doing advanced operators it's not saying the proxies are blocked, it's just ending like the parser cannot find any links but for regular searches it's fine. It's almost like you are getting a different Google page/design but only for advanced operators.

Please send an email through to support, and i will give you a custom version which captures the html to see if this is the case.
