Reason to use proxies? scrapebox AMR BMD?

I know all of these softwares support proxys, and have been using them, but it seems to really slow them down

But what is the exact reason that you need to use a proxy?

I have DSL so turning on and off modem changes IP. Whats the risk of not running with proxys?

So your IP doesn't get banned or blacklisted, for one thing...

I think for somebody running software like that on their home computer, the best solution is hidemyass.com... it's cheap, blazing fast internet connection, and you're protecting yourself from complaints to your ISP or anything else like that.

If you want faster speed just buy private proxies

DSL only goes so far when changing IPs, because of that no matter how many times you reset it'll always ultimately be traceable to the same source.

Think of it like this. There's a constant unseen battle with content pools (like blogs, forums, article sites) and black hatters, and the easiest way for them to implement an anti spam defence is to simply block offending IPs. You don't want an IP associated with your home flagged, trust me. And with with proxies being as cheap as they are, for peace of mind they're more than worth it.

I also have a proxy question. Is it important to use a different proxy/email account for each and every profile/article/web2.0/bookmark you create?

Or is it safe to use a single proxy, with a single email address and create a single set of links consisting of a bookmarking profile, web2.0 and article directory submission all with that one proxy/email account?

I worked in the industry as a developer for a while.

In short, it is safe to use single proxy and single email address for things
like bookmarking, web 2.0 and article directories (NOT for XRumer/Scrapebox).

Remember, Web 2.0 sites development teams have many other more
important problems to deal with than monitoring IP and account
connections. The developers are usually lazy and the most that they
do is limit the number of accounts you can create per IP per day or
something as stupid as that.

Only if a site is seriously spammed then they take counter masures.
But banning IPs can seriously backfire in terms of customer satisfaction
so rarely they will ever do this.

What about google though? Would they not be able to tell that multiple accounts were created with the same ip and are linking to the same site - would they not look at this as unnatural SEO and not value/index the links?
