Is this KW really easy to rank?

I found a KW with 7k exact US local searches.

EMD.com is available.

TT says it's relatively easy, but it looks so much harder than it says.

Is it a waste of time trying to rank for it?

I wouldn't go there... Look at the amount of backlinks overall on those pages.. That'll be hard even with EMD.tld

agreed. you should look for at least 5 sites in the top ten with less than 50 backlinks. Your competition is way ahead of you, it seems.

why is TT saying it's relatively easy then? just because most don't have the KW in the title, desc and h1?

Imo it looks easy. Keyword isnt even in title, description or h1 on the top3 sites!

Top 3 seems pretty hard to crack. What I would do is I would do a backlinks PR analysis on those top 3 sites to see if they're all just a bunch of spam backlinks. If they are, then quality always beats quantity in the long run

strange that the age of every site in the top 10 is zero, is that a mistake or is the niche something pretty new?

surely the number one site cant have a PR7 with 0 domain age??

Nearly all sites are dmoz and YD listed, very strange results these....

It looks pretty hard to rank for this kwd, but as elvis said the results are really strange.
Why not doing an analysis with MS or even manually and compare the results.

Lol everybody looking at the backlinks instead of the results.

Only the #4 has the keyword in the title and that only has 28 BL, should be pretty easy to beat with an EMD. None of the other competitors even have the keyword in the title or description.

Won't know till you go for it. Try for it I mean I'm guessing the top ones are like a dailyspark or digg site but with good greyhat measures you should be able to overtake them.

Just don't take that risk and waste your time with this, move on, there's many many easy to rank keywords.

It is going to be very very difficult to rank for your keywords, a serious amount of work needs to be done and by the time the work is done imagine where the competition will be?

Man go for it, learn from mistakes it's the best way to go. Work at it as a side project to test out your skills, PR7, thousand backlinks, these are just numbers, create something that people won't have to search for another website after they land on yours.

But keep in mind...side project! Don't count on it!
