First of all let me say thank you to everyone here at BHW... I have not been posting in awhile because I have been busy growing my business.. I still work full time and an upscale Steakhouse but thanks to this forums I have a few local clients paying me to do SEO.

I recently added a new client who does web design in a specific niche for many different websites... he is paying me A LOT of money but I do not want to invest in any services...

Here is what I have...

RSS Submit
Senuke X
Scrapebox
Bookmark Demon
Youtube Accounts Galore

Do I have everything necessary to rank this client quickly and easily?

Can anyone offer any advice in terms of backlinking that will deliver results in a timely fashion?

Thanks again for everyone's help.

It all depends on the competition really, going after "city name italian restaurant" isn't nearly as difficult of going after "city name mortgage" or something along those lines. The same can be said for whatever city you are in, for example if you are trying to go after new york city keywords compared to some small town in Texas it'll be a bit different in competition as well.

Assuming that the clients have a preexisting website with *some* backlinks already in place, then what you've mentioned is a good starting point. Be sure to throw some high quality high PR backlinks into the mix as well. I have one client of my high PR service that had the same sorta backlinks that you were proposing but couldn't seem to get past position #5 on the first page. After getting high PR links he's sitting in the #1 position for 2 out of his 4 keywords. Don't underestimate the power of these kinda links.

SuperLinks: what type of "high PR links"? Forum profile? Blog roll? Articles through a blog farm? Other?

Actual high PageRank links, pages with PageRank, not pages with PRN/A or PR0 from a high PR domain.

However you can achieve this, paid, begging, services on BHW, etc. When you really begin to break down the top rankings for competitive keywords on Google, you'll begin to notice a large trend of artificial high PR backlinks.

Solid Advice, I'll aim for some PR5+ links then... They keywords should all be relatively easy to rank for in terms of niche and geography....

Perfect - also keep in mind "diversity", don't overload a site with a ton of PR5's immediately. Build those links in with your previous gameplan of SENuke and the other tools and you are golden.

Top 5 rankings within 30-60 days

Do you use scrapebox and other blackhat tools directly onto the clients website? Or are you creating different sites, then linking to the clients site?

How does one "protect" their clients site from being blacklisted? If that makes any sense...

Truelux, I use a combination of my own SEO theory, and others theory. I only blast 2.0s, articles, prs... pretty much I only use SB and SEnuke as backlinks to my backlinks..there are exceptions however, like videos or articles or press releases, those usually link to the main site.

Pretty much this is a daunting truth, especially if the site is for a professional like a doctor or lawyer in a larger population city. Not only are you fighting people w/ the established web presence, but also trying to get up ahead of the abouts, yellow pages sites, etc. In those cases it's way more beneficial to try to target specific services that the site/client will provide, and not just something like "Doctor New York" or "Atlanta Attorney".

Yep, I can't tell you how many times I've told this to others, whether its friends performing SEO for local service specialists or the company owners themselves.

If you are in a town, and specialized only to that town, don't go after the larger keywords simply because there's a higher search volume. If I live in Manhattan you can bet your ass I'm not gonna go to your doctors office outside of Manhattan. So why rank for those keywords?

Target your niche, and go after those keywords. Would you rather get a 50% conversion rate on 100 website visitors, or a 1% on 1,000?

You can use scrapebox directly to client sites HOWEVER make sure to do this on a limited and quality basis.

Here are the steps I take to minimize the risk/maximize the impact.

1. Scrape relevant blogs - I aim for .edu's first then other TLDs.

2. Check the Page PR of the URLs. Filter out URLs with no Page PR or whatever quality cut-off you'd like.

3. Use the Outbound Link Checker addon and filter out URLs with more than 80 outbound links. (You can set this to more i.e 100 or less depending.) I look for sites that autoapprove that others haven't found yet. Sites with a low number of OBLs usually aren't autoapprove for example.

4. See how many URLs there are. Limit the comments you post based on how many links the client site has and how often they add new content.

5. Anchor text distribution is key.
I shoot for 50% exact keyword, 30% keyword derivatives, and 20% brand or URL (http://www.yousite.com or www.yoursite.com).

For the number 5, some people use the same anchor with good results. Anyone confirm this?

But you ask here because it is free. And some clever guys answer you.

Is this your real approach to your job? I mean trying to get things for free as much as possible? Are you sure this is a good method?

You even do not know what your software in your hand can do. On the contrary you find clients to do seo for them. And rather than paying for quality services here on BHW to serve your customers, you try to grab free info. You should be fckng genius. I have never thought of such an idea.

I wish that your clients could see this EXCELLENT thread of yours.:):):) (you seo monster begging for some help...:stupido3:)

Thanks for the quality opinion edgematch, if you do not like the exchange of information that takes place online, you may want to consider never using the internet again.

I'm not a middle man I don't pay for services that others can easily find, I'm not selling marijuana here I'm providing quality relevance engineering.

I know what my software does

SEO is ever changing, I was starting a discussion I have OTHER clients that pay me A LOT and I RANK THEM.. This is a client I can afford to EXPERIMENT with so I posted here... PLEASE STFU if you don't know whats inside the book... or read the book... add me on skype and learn about my business, I'll even teach you how to NOT be a toolbag/total douche online for FREE! Then later I'll teach you about SEO $500 an hour though since apparently the free exchange of information bothers you.

If you target a more long tailed keyword with an accurate account of the city name and area then ranking well for it would not be so difficult. It is the short tailed keywords that can take a toll on you.

I'm still learning as I have started doing SEO about 5 months ago. Here is what I do and it has been working so far. I use exact anchor text that i want to rank a site for.

Main source of backlinks are blog networks (Article Ranks, Authority Link Network, Build My Rank, Free Traffic System, My Article Network and i recently signed up for UAW), web 2.0 and AMR+indexing service. Out of 6 keywords i'm chasing, i have 4 on p1, some at the bottom, some in the middle. Best position is #5. Other keywords are p2, p3 etc. I have started seoing this particular site about 3 months ago.

Hope this helps man.

Honestly social bookmarking can get you the rankings in the quickest time.

Now if you want to do it yourself go ahead.

Honestly, I just outsource the stuff and sit back and watch the rankings rise.

Then go out and get more clients.

I'm going to be trying something similar out, and I'll let you know how it works out for me. About two years ago when I was a n00b, I started a "city dentist" website, in a fairly wealthy area. I didn't know crap about SEO (well, compared to what I know now). I basically stuffed the site with the three main keywords, and did Scrapebox blasts (crappy links). 6 months later, I was on the 2nd page, which was bringing no traffic really. I'm not sure if this is true, but I think that domain is doomed; too many crappy links pointing to it (correct me if I'm wrong).

My plan is to try this one more time from scratch, with a new domain. I'd definitely considering outsourcing to the services section of BHW. I see you said "I'm not a middle man, I deliver quality". Honestly, with that sort of mind frame, you're potential to grow your business is going to be very limited (in my opinion).

I think 90% of the most successful people in this forum, or online for that matter, outsource a lot. There is nothing wrong with outsourcing. It comes down to whether you value your time or not. If I was being paid $600 a month by a local dentist to rank his site, I can guarantee you I would not build a single link myself. I'd just be a middleman. Work smart, not hard.
