I ordered a bunch of services from well known members of BHW. I am happy with the work and when I look at the reports all the links work. My question is why are they not increasing in YSE. Is Google not finding them? Do I need to index them? If so what should I use? Also is it better to let google find them naturally so I dont get sandboxed? The site is about a year old.

The links found in backlink checker and YSE are just the ones that are indexed.

A lot of your links may not get indexed but they may have been crawled by spiders so there's not much to worry about.

You can take a list of links that are not indexed and ping them to help the indexing process but it's up to the search engines whether they want to index the pages or not.

YSE will not necessarily show you all of the links. I have had it tell me a certain amount, and then been told a much higher amount on Googs Webmaster Tools.

The sites that show as backlinks are just some of the ones that got crawled and got indexed. Some of your links may have been crawled but not indexed. No real need of worrying but do continue to build links. I make a list of my indexed links and then ping them forcefully for good measure. So I can be sure that the SE will know of it.

Dont bother about YSE. It does not show all the links anyway. Just continue to build backlinks. I have one new site with zero backlinks on YSE but ranking on page 1 and page 2 for some keywords in Google. Of course I did some backlinks on it.

what everyone already said is totally right.

when you have 80 quadrillion pages on the web, being constantly created and deleted and edited, it is reasonable to expect some lag time on these things ;)
