how did you get deindexed?
I had 70 niche sites deindexed last year. I salvaged all the original content and combined everything onto one aged domain and created a super site. It was an 8 year old aged domain.
I then 301'd all my old sites to the new one and have never looked back since! More money and better rankings.
This was pre-panda though however I know for a fact the 301s don't carry the penalty over to the new domain.

Im not 100% sure but im thinking it had to do with duplicate content, I had a 2 year old domain the was ranking fine for 2 years and I went ahead and decided why don't I target some new keywords and the next morning all of my sites hosted on that server was no longer in googles index:croc:.
Are you serious? Does this mean that I can 301 redirect all my perma-sandboxed sites (which aren't de-indexed, just permanently sandboxed) to aged domains, and rank good again?
Also, did you even build backlinks to your aged domain that you made all the 301 redirects too?
And did you send the 301 redirects to subpage? Or all to homepage?
I never would have thought a de-indexed site could do a 301 redirect and have any sort of effect.
Some penalties don't move to a new site.
However, most do.
I 301 a couple of sandboxed sites to a couple of other domains and I ranked pretty good for a week. Then they all got sandboxed again.
