Media buying has been part of some of the largest IMers' repertoire for several years, and I got to thinking (after reading the other "new forum suggestion" thread) that it would make a great addition to BHW.

Given that media buying takes some start-up cash, I think it would attract those who are already earning, and are just looking for ways to reinvest their money.

What does the rest of BHW think?

I think that would be better among maybe jnr VIP threads - I don't think new guys will get it - so maybe among the Gods of BHW - such as yourself - it would fit better. and also - as you said its mainly for people who know what they are doing.

There's a lot of PPC forums etc and not much CPM based threads or media buying.

It would be a good addition if members are willing to share their knowledge in the field and may be show some winning campaigns.

Me myself have done a lot of work with the POF advertiser system and there's not much information about the CPM model and most of the threads here relate to facebook advertising which in itself is totally different.

I agree with Essence19 that it shouldn't really be for noobs as its pretty complicated and requires a decent amount of investment a time.

Creating winning campaigns takes a lot of effort in tweaking and creating the right landing pages and tracking etc which is IMO beyond that of most noobies.
