2 Failed Attempts at SEO...What am I doing wrong???

Im not signed up to an affiliate or anything, I just want to learn SEO so that I can apply it to my personal endeavors as it would be helpful to implement.

My second attempt should have been my better effort after I read countless threads here and on other websites about SEO.

What I tried:
I used the "Easy WP SEO", I bought backlinks, and my site isn't even on ANY search result page for my keyword. ZERO pages!

This doesn't make sense.

Can anyone help? Tell me what I need to do differently? PM me for URL, and other key info. All I want to do is know that I can get onto a SERP page.

Keyword Competition:
*1.1M (I know, its high. I picked the keyword b4 learning the comprehensive way to keyword research.)
*87 Pages
*intitle: 71K
*inurl: 56K
*Both title/url: 29K

Reminder: I'm am not too concerned with being top 5 or anything. I just want to make it on the SERP page and hopefully in the future I will pick better keywords so that I will rank higher.

Did you do On-Page optimization for your site with the keyword you are targeting? Title tags, meta-tags, etc?

1.) I know that my site has been indexed because it is recognized by the search engine. (Unless, I'm mistaken)
2.) How do I create "inlink"? Are you referring to links to other pages on my website?

Yes, I did. I used the Easy WP SEO tool which tells me the keyword density, alt tags, title, tags, ect. It also gives me a score to tell me how much my page has been SEO optimized.
 
You should download the seo powersuite from the download section and make a site report for your website. It will highlight everything you're doing wrong and it will also say how to fix it. Doesn't get much more easy! And you'll learn from it as well.
 
Have you built a high quality link pyramid? If not that is probably why you aren't ranking well.

This is the most important of all.. What backlinks have you bought?? What have you tried till yet??

Let us know what you have done on backlinks part and we can help you more on this when we get some idea mate..

Sounds interesting. Does it look at off site SEO as well?

No but I have been speaking with "WhiteGold" and he mentioned this. I will work on this. I need to redo a lot of things on my website...almost start over according to my conversation with "White Gold"...very helpful info.

I bought the 500 backlink service from "sarkark21"
 
Indexing is one of the easiest things to do. Try search type index youll see what will help you
