Hi,

I am ranking stable on spot 23 in Google.de for a pretty hard keyword (22.000.000 competitors, make money niche)

I have 100 Sites of Unique Articles on it, Onpage SEO is perfect (A+). The Linkbuilding consists mainly of manual Web 2.0 Properities and Web 2.0 Pyramids, Linkpushes, manual Blog Comments, manual Forum posts, manual quality Articles in good Directorys and some Social Bookmarks.

But I am sticking on page 3 (Spot 23) and it doesn't move, please give me some advice .. I also already contacted 2 Seo Consultants for advice, but they said this is out of their possibilities (lol). I really want to do it, so I really appreciate every help or tipps :)

hmmm yeah... now I'm far from an SEO guru but I reckon some really high PR links also would help alot... you need google to give you that last bit of authority.. maybe some really well paid for links? A high end press release?

Also if it helps you, did you eve read the story of how "that guy" apologies for not knowing his name, got ranked for the phrase "online dating" using backlinks from facebook If I'm correct. He embed his backlinks in viral apps and was ranking crazilly high by google.

Also some shitty paid for traffic might help with alexa!? (could be well wrong here)

Like I say I'm no guru, but hopefully thats some food for thought :)
Best of luck mate..

How old is the site? Links take time and also it's easier to rank an older domain.

thanks for the answers, what do you mean with high PR Links? Bought links? I need German high PR Links, any suggestions ?

Hello ingredible,

I think the main problem is that you do not understand how Google works.

Since the Panda update Google has made it extremely hard to rank for competitive keywords by using manipulative tactics.

It's no longer enough just to produce "unique content" then build links to it, that content should make your readers say wow, that was great, I'll share that somewhere like facebook or twitter, or I'll just plus1 it. Do you think you can pay for that kind of stuff? No, Google knows if you're building link yourself or if they are natural. Google has machines which continue to learn the natural processes.

Lets imagine that Google puts your site to a test, you either pass or fail. Your site fails, but you have no idea that your site has failed because Google keeps that information to themselves. You keep building links with real high quality links and you think to yourself, hang on a minute, my links are much better than the guy that ranks number 1. You've done everything that you possibly can to rank number 1, higher quality links, more links, variation of links, even tried to make it all look natural. The problem is that your site failed because Google knows your method was not natural, how do they know? Who knows, but what I can tell you is that Google has information of billions of sites, they know because they have the whole web to experiment with.

The site that passed Google's test only has 20 links and they are not even that good, but the site has produced an amazing piece of content that users like and share.

Here is an idea, you are ranked 23 for this keyword, go and check from number 1 to number 22 and imagine being the person searching for your keyword, now put all 23 sites in order of the best user experience, I bet Google has done a good job already.

I'm not saying blackhat SEO should not be used, but you should have a good understanding of what you are doing.

Apart from that, work on keywords that have low competition where everyone is doing manipulative link building.

@ Fathom, I know my content is nice and a lot of people who would search for this keyword would like it and maybe share it.

This is strange and a bit new. I have a new site which has been sitting on #22/23 for a while and I have tried all sorts of ways to get it past 20 but couldn't....yet....

Mebbe this is something new with the G. thing...hmm..

Hi, I am still at rank 23 .. but my pagerank increased to PR 2 (first N/A)

Some suggestions?

That was uncalled for and nice to see people agree with you. I was just trying to share my knowledge.

Hire a BB service especially 101 Backlinks, I have found pretty amazing results! its cost you $67 :)

@Fathom thank you for sharing that with us but here we are discussing how can this guy rank on #1 page and i think somehow your post reflects that he should avoid that high competitive keyword and google has made the right job to rank him at #23.

Here is another side of coin, if he can rank for #23 for that high competitive keyword in just seven months after starting the site. Why cannot he rank on the #1 page or #1 spot with few more efforts and i guess everyone is giving their own valuable suggestions to make it happen.

Maybe test changing the title and meta description of the site along with a content update so that it's click through rate would change in google search results.. hopefully for the better and that could increase rankings. :)

Buy some google +1. 100-200 and check your ranking in couple of days.
