* Ex employee posting false things about me online, how can I get revenge?

I have an ex employee that is posting false things online about my company and wanted to know if there is anyway to get postings removed, if not removed what is the best way to get revenge for what they are doing. The best I have come up with so far is to post a bunch of positive things under the same name so as to dilute the validity of what they are doing.

If It's public - contact the owner, if it's his site, the go black hat on his site, xrumer with porn keywords etc, i mean, get it deindexed.

You have to outrank him with positive reviews. Have a bunch of positive reviews written anywhere that you can and backlink those positive reviews to push his review off the first page.

Find him and break his legs. Maybe smash his hands with a hammer so he can't type any more shit about you. Problem solved.

Well, you can put a comment under your complaint or contact whoever is in charge of that website. Tried talking to your guy?

People believe everything they read... Whatever the guys name is, make a site about how he's a fraud and spends his time trying to ruin peoples names/business' and back it up with all kinds of fake proof.

Make a wikipedia article on it, screenshot that article...

i had a simmilar problem with this a few months back. If you're in the UK attempt to get a police harrasment order placed on them, then contact all the websites that he has comments on and inform them that the poster is a former employee of yours making actionable falsehoods against your company, that you currently have a harasment order against them and are in the process of taking legal action. Heavily imply (but don't mention) that, by keeping his comments on their site they are in some way culpable. (to be honest you could probably do this without a police harasment order, none of the place I had to contact over it bothered to check ).

buy a whole bunch of exact match domains with your name in it, also make web 2.0 properties on big sites and put positive information about yourself there. Then build some links to those sites and properties. Social bookmarking and some spam should do the trick. You should be able to dominate all top 10 results for your name.
