I Don't Know How To Choose Keywords..

With keywords, does it matter about the PPC cost or should I just target low competition, high search volume keywords..

I'm trying to monetize my site off adsense. That being said, I've been using google keyword tool and been finding random Keywords with low competition and been creating "Posts/Pages" on my site to try and perfect the On Site SEO.

Or should I be choosing keywords with high PPC costs for maximizing my earnings?

One example of my keyword is a Girl, famous on the internet, but low competition, around 20k searches global.

I've made a 2.0 Squidoo Lens/2 Youtube Videos and a Page On My money site about her..

Should I be pointing backlinks towards this?

CPC > $1.00
Montly searches > 2000
Exact match "KEYWORD" in google under 60,000

Have fun. Thats only the first part though. The important part is seeing if you can even rank for it.
