Do Profile Links hurt ranking ?

Hey I have been using blog comments to rank for the computer repairs nyc with the domain computerrepairsnyc.com I startling using profile links a couple of days ago with xrumer and my site went from page 2 to page 6. What is your opinion just a google dance?

why would a link HURT your ranking? does that make any sense at all?

your site is less than a month old, of course it's going to dance around in the rankings.
 
I'd say this is more than likely a delayed reaction from your comment blasting than anything else.

There isn't a smiley on this board for how good Xrumer is!

My site got penalized for xrumer and would never touch the program again!

Google re insulsion request was successful.

I'm not sure if I was unlucky, or other people just don't want to admit the program they spent huge $$$ on is completely rubbish.

How can you assume that your site penalized because of xrumer?

What change you've made before submit reconsideration request? Did you deleting all forum profiles one by one? That's tough.

No I just wrote that I used a marketer who contacted me via email and then my site got penalised.
 
Spam Smart, I dont believe in bad links. Just keep building high quality links together with XRumer
 
This is just a google dance your site will bounce back more strongly
 
I just want to shout out a big thanks to Googles algo & the impatience of people.

It makes me move on & feel better ;)

If you site was 1 week old and you gave it a huge blast and got them indexed real fast of course you got penalized...
 
Some tips for you:
1. Spin you profile as much as possible.
2. Blast to hight authority forum

With a brand new site you shouldn't be doing a huge xrumer blast. If you're going to build pages that link to you and blast those.

You'll probably recover soon though, wouldn't worry about it too much.

My thoughts exactly. Its funny how people panic every time their site starts dancing. I love to see motion. If my site is sitting still for too long, thats when I get worried (unless I'm sitting at the number one spot ;)),
