Scared to build backlinks!!!

jk not really scared to build backlinks but google has gotten us all shaken up. What is effective now? I hear people dropping from all types of backlinking, it could be just that their sites suck but who knows. I know the old well if we could just spam our commpetitor sites they would drop argument, but there has to be something to why some sites drop like crazy when they build too many backlinks at a time. So are we stuck to whitehat slow boring backlinking? I don't know I guess time will tell. What is working for you right now?

You are reading and worrying too much and doing too little.
EVERYTHING still works. Anyone who tell opposite is either
not doing the right thing or just paralysed by fear and not
doing anything at all.

Just do the link building and you will see for yourself what
work and what's not.

Well, I for one have been moving toward higher quality links since the last algo change. I think this is one of the few times that Google has done something significant. In my opinion, the day of the "blasting comment spam" is quickly coming to an end... and believe me, I can comment spam with the best of them!!!

I'm not saying its dead, but I believe it will be at some point... so might as well start finding ways to drop better links now before your back is against the wall.

I've been mixing it up. I purchased some backlinks services on this site that do a wide arrange of backlinks and then backlink the backlinks. I've been doing article submits and then blasting those articles with blog posts and forum profiles. Then I would sprinkle in some forum profiles and blog posts to my main domain. I do all of this for both my main domain and inner pages. I also created some blogger blogs that link to my main domain which also have their own backlinks. Lastly, I've been finding related websites and doing link exchanges with them. I've been taking my time with backlink. One week, I would work on article blasting sites. The next week I would work on blog posting to those articles, this week it's been scraping forums and doing forum profiles. I don't really have an exact strategy or plan. I kind of make things up as I go along. I'm also not blasting out thousands of links each time, only 100-300 max.

I should also point out that I try to make quality links by either linking from a high PR site/page, or more importantly, the site has related content to my link.

everything seems ok, I have a two month old blog that i finally got to page one with high quality articles with xrumer blast and additional backlinks.

I dont think you are scared to build backlinks, its just that you are misinformed about how things work or dont have a clue. Dont get me wrong, nothing personal, but you should really get your act together and start working your ass off if you need to build success. Or you can go to sleep and never be scared again...

The best way to learn is to do SEO for multiple websites and throw everything against the wall and see what works. Buying links is a great method. This is what I do: look up the inventory of websites in the link brokerages and then contact the webmasters directly. Since brokerages take 50% commission, you can acquire links far cheaper. I would say to mix up between text and blog links.

Now, here's the kicker..when youre on these sites youll see who else is buying similar links and judge theyre success. If theyre successful, then I would mine all their backlinks and add those.

If you are indeed scared, you should not be. Just blast your site, ignore Google and go on. Marketers spend too much time worrying about what Google does instead of promoting their own sites. Blast, blast and then blast again.

Stop reading and start doing.


90% of what people say here is bs..

And for each 9999 sites that have sucess 1 person will report her sucess here.
For each 10 sites that got problems,8 people will post saying that x thing dont work.

Clue: successful marketers don't usually discuss what they're doing, they are too busy being successful...

Just keep creating backlinks and let google crawl them slow with out ping i guest thats the safest.

I feel you... it is easy to get paranoid after reading the forum or a couple of hours if you are a newbie just like I am. You hear that "since the SB is not working", "AMR got me sandboxed", "xrumer links are worthless" kind of shit all the time...you could get a feeling that nothing is working now for SEO. But it is just not logic so you have to start doing your moves and see it for yourself.
