link checker

Is there any online resource that helps to find if a link is broken or not . for eg
if i need to download a 1gb file that is split ed into 20 and uploaded in rapidshare or any other file uploading site basically it will have 20 links for the file and I need to check if all the links are working fine with out manually going into each link .like copying and pasting the link into some application and will report back if the links are working or broken.
