Hi BHW Community,

I currently own eflowers.cm which is a domain valued at $26,000 USD by estibot.com. It has a killer keyword and I am sure this can be a HUGE money marker. The domain is now live, if you haven't bought your Valentines Day flowers...now is the time :)

Anyways I am looking for either a partner to help me SEO and back link this baby and share the profits (great rev share) or I will pay up front (probably less lucrative).

Please let me know your ideas, plan and cost or if you could point me in the right direction that would be helpful.

.cm? Like, Cameroon? Are you targeting Cameroon? If you are targetting google.com, your domain will not be favored to rank just because of the domain name. In addition, people from most countries will feel your website is a scam site based on the domain extension. It would be better to have buyflowerslol.com to rank for a flowers keyword on google.com.
 
I think having .cm will have a negative effect on your SEO since its a country specific domain - unless of course u are targeting that country then its fine

This is the same argument I believe as .info domains not be valuable. They can be very valuable its just that the ones that make it to the top are usually aged .com's. .com is obviously the tdl of choice, but I have brought .net, .info and .biz to the top of google for results and it was no harder then a .com

27k valuation? if you can get 10% of that i'd be shocked.
 
Some of the .CM domains are valued highly by estibot, some come back with higher valuations then the .net's and .info's. I do not know why.

Here are some others I own.
asseenontv.cm = $129000 USD
eflowers.cm = $26000 USD
Server.CM = $20000 USD
Luck.CM = $17000 USD
Refinance.CM = $18000 USD
 
You make yourself look like a total noob by harping on about the estibot valuations of your domains. People who actually buy and sell domains all the time, and keep on eye on auction prices, know that estibot, along with every other appraisal site on net, is way off.

You might be able to get some good typo traffic with your domains but no one in their right mind would ever try and build a serious business on a .cm domain, for the simple reason that most regular people don't even know that the .cm extension exists, and would automatically go to the .com.
 
I have never heard of .CM, but I think it should be just fine. I mean, people mis-type and will accidental put in .CM instead of .COM. In addition to that, if the site is designed nicely there is no reason to think its a scam.
