I've used the "trial version" several times and it works perfectly.

I was creating new posts on my Wordpress site and inserting my sales page at the bottom of each post. Was worried that Google might frown on this, so I converted it into an image that, when sliced up, loads fairly quickly.

well this is probably only a good idea if you already rank well with other content. if someone tries to set up a website with images only he/she wont rank very well. content in images cant be read from google so far.
