There is an seo company that says that they can rank any website in just a couple of hours. Anybody tried such kind of services? Is it reliable?

Get a money back guarantee. Use paypal. Take screen shots of the money back guarantee. Get them to email you the money back guarantee. File dispute if they don't deliver. Also, I can rank any website within a couple of hours, but it may not be for a term you want to rank for!

If you can give their website, may be someone might help you with. :)

What would these guys really do? They'll probably use a spamming tool and get thousands of links from wordpress blogs. Then they'll use something like sick submitter and create about 100- 200 links from there etc right!

I've tried that myself, but for some reason google isn't really allowing me to get to the first position. I've already created 100's of links but as of now google is only counting like 13 of them. I really need to talk to an seo expert.

Won't matter, PP doesn't cover any digital transactions. Say he promised to send you the shipping receipt within 24 hours and he never did, now you don't need the item and want a refund. You have to say it's a physical product or you won't get your money back.

Well in my experiences with disputes, paypal has sided against me with digital products. Maybe they filed the dispute in a different way that I don't understand, or maybe it was because they filed the dispute with their credit card company. All I know is, I delivered a service, and the buyer filed dispute, and I lost. No reason was given. It just said "Paypal has come to a conclusion regarding your dispute, please log in to see the result." and when I log in, I see the money taken from my account.

Ranking a website, and ranking a website #1 for the term they want are 2 completely different things. Any seo company claiming they can rank another website #1 for ANY term you want are lying. You can't outrank nike for nike, or wikipedia for wikipedia. Some sites are beyond the basic algorithms and manually locked in as authority sites, because there would be no need or reason to rank other sites ahead of them.

Do remember these companies aren't making claims about ranking you on the first page organically.

They are referring to adwords and your ad being seen on the first page of google.

I've seen a few companies like that.

yup, i agree I myself have seen a few..but i have yet to see results.

But you guys know what? I've seen some sights rank overnight with 6k backlinks pointing to them. When the haiti problem happened, there were loads of websites that were asking for donations and were on page 1. Atleast 4-6 of them were websites that have loads of high pr backlinks and spammy backlinks pointing to them.

I think PP just keeps the money for themselves. It never seems to matter which side of the dispute I'm on, I always lose. PP could care less if I can prove my case or not.

Were they legit or scam websites? Things like that may have manual influence on the rankings.

Yes it is possible. There's a book tht taught how to do this.

There's some site like Squidoo where you can post content and whatever you post shows up within 30 mins in Google, but only for long-tail keywords. And they do not allow you to post aff links or anything. Its pretty limited...

Start a thread on pretty much any thing and then search for it in google you will find it on first page (if its not a very hard and competitive term.

F@ck it just for kick lets try it out now.

You should know better. Paypal doesn't protect you since you're offering a "service" and not a tangible item.

That was my whole point of my post. I offered a service, a person disputed, I lost. But the other guy said "You have to say it's a physical product or you won't get your money back." So I am very confused on this whole issue.

Read the response from -Jericho- to sum up Paypals terms.
