LOL. Not sure what your problem is with him or that article.

He's definitely got some very whitehat views

... Treat your website like an infant; give it lots of attention, feed it some healthy content, protect it from dangerous spam activity and let it grow naturally over time.

But aside from that he gave a pretty decent explanation about a few marketing tricks to be careful with and why. Even if you aren't quite so whitehat as he would like everyone to be, the information he published is worth reading.

Even if you aren't going to follow his advice it's still good to understand the pitfalls of the techniques he's pointing out.
