basically, it can get you a tonne of traffic, but will just get you banned from search engines, so use it jsut for traffic, any backlinks that dont dissappear are on spam filled forums

Interesting question .... i read about a couple trackback programms and scripts ... but i think they are about a 7 too ... since many blogs do not allow trackbacks anymore ... or at least have very clever anti trackback spam plugins.

There's also prosubmitter by seosoftware. Hard to find a hosting for that though.

There's always trackback spider. It's been around a while and is on version 2. Says it has a userbase limited to 300 at any one time but you can't be sure. I've tried it with limited success (very few do-follow trackbacks PRs over 3) Hope this helps.
