Micro niche site dilemma, one pager static or semiautoishblog hmmm...

Hey guys,

Ive got a domain ready for a killer Microniche. But see my problem is, what want is a static 1 page write up that'll get amazon / clickbank sales and Adsense clicks... But our friend, the GOOG, likes updated content, constant crawling.

So, I have a means for blogging (semiautomated of course), but I want is shown in a certain way, with my important one-pager info front and center and the updating blog for the google crawl, just secondary.

Could I basically just make the home page my one-pager and then .com/blog/ for the blog and will that suffice? Or is there a wordpress theme or similar blogging engine theme that has like a predominant first top porton for static content and a blog beneath?

My main concern is the SEO because the top rank will come, it's just making sure it does and making it fully profitable asmuch as possible

I do this with all my sites. I just sticky the main content and do the rest as regular blog posts. Then my target content is always on top of page 1 of my blog. I don't use the /blog/ thing either, just set it up as a regular blog.
