since buildmyrank is not taking any more members and linkvana is so expensive, i am going to join authoritylinknetwork. the service is similar, but they dont charge anything. instead, you have to add your own blog to participate, and the blog has to be PR1+

I do have some blogs, but they are all PR0.
i have heard if you buy a domain from someone, at the next PR update, the PR goes to zero.
so how can i buy a high pr blog and avoid this problem?
from where?

and by the way, I am still not sure about ALN, if you have any suggestions for a blog network, that would be great.

from my experience you must earn PR yourself. If you buy it it will go away.

Huh? Guess I got lucky on the 60+ blogs I have purchased the last 3 years. PR1-7.

They retain some PR maybe 90% of the time. Maybe half lose a little PR over a few updates.

Keep the content and change as few registration details as possible at first.

Also, you might investigate http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/246376-3-way-linkbuilding-up-12-500-backlinks.html. Works good for me.

Jeez, two replies and I didn't answer your question. Flippa for quality, digitalpoint for cheap.

I have bought around 50 sites with PR so far in last few years... Few lost their PR but not completely... Some got in down like from PR 3 to PR 1 but some also went up from PR 2 to PR 5...

So I will not say PR just get lost when next updates comes... Anyway Google is not updating it from last few months, I believe last major update was 10 months back... So just buy any PR site and start doing what ever you want...
