Hushmail and safe-mail.net WERE good, however the NSA actually bought both firms last year, meaning the government has access to your email as owner of the sites. No webmail is truly anonymous if Big Brother can instantly get into your stuff without legal process. Try anonymousspeech (based in Japan) or neomailbox (based in Europe).

Web, no. For secure, anonymous email Mixmaster is the only way to go.
