hello i have a forum

all files are in root directory no subdirectory no subdomain name

and url can be

myforum.com/?p=12&a=33

but onlyone age from my sites is crawled yet

how do i make google crawl different posts of my forum?


when i tried to build online sitemap also then also it finds only one page on my site.

please help and guide me to get most of my posts if not all get listed by google

let me add i uploaded my site in mid july

maybe.. making up questions at Yahoo Answers.. and then answer that question with the link to your forum thread/post??

Do you have a robots.txt in your root folder?

You need a file with this in it to instruct robots to index your whole site:

User-agent: *

If you are unsure about robots.txt (it must be called this) many things can be done with it including disallowing directories but the above is the main command you need for spiders.

now i am creating few static pages with their name as category name and all topics dynamic comes form db without any parameter in query string

i am going to get these pages link twice or thrice

that is forum jump combo box, and dropdown thing.

yes i need to get more links for them from my site itself and yahoo answers

otherwise i have got few threads bookmarked but it hasnt worked till now

yahoo answer is good suggestion and taming yahoo answers with our customized questions a very good suggestion which i am going to implement right away.

I am pretty sure that there is some SEO mod for phpbb. What forum software are you using? as far as I know google cannot read into a forum that you must log into

It's just a time thing. Google, or any other spider for that matter, very, very rarely crawls and indexes an entire site in one swoop (unless you have a mass of high PR and trusted backlinks). Especially if it's a new domain.

An SEO mod only increases rank in a small way by the weighting it gives to the url, it doesn't increase spider activity.

Robots.txt won't really help, a site map might, but it's a forum, so as Google notices activity and growth it'll visit more frequently and indexing will increase in size and frequency as well.

A few high PR backlinks will help activity as it immediately establishes some kind of trust.

GEt some deeplinks ... answer questions on dofollow blogs forums etc with a link of a thread from your forum. That should help at first. Oh, and give it some time, sometimes search engines are slow.

Be sure to ping your site every so often. And get some mods/plugins that will interlink your pages (a "related posts" one or something).

pages changes all the time so you can ping ping however you want do not work

i am looking to for a solution rewrite one if you know it ? (it looks like same trouble in google newsgroups incredible ?)

make a blog with a plr article on it and with a link to the inner pages of your forum and ping it like shit on different services.
