in my country you can only sell things that belong to you. i mean, youo can only sell themes the safe way if they belong to you.

but why you dont sell something else and give the theme packadge for free?

I'm not sure which templates you are talking about, but I would say it is probably not a good idea. There are many other ways here to make money.

I personally think you would be opening yourself up to a lot of trouble, but to each his own.

If you are asking if it is against the law? then yes.

If you want to sell templates, go to scriptlance of some lance site and have some done for you.

It's one thing to get stuff free for your own quiet and private use and be grateful that you paid nothing, but to get it and then try to sell it is greedy.

I once had a Private Message asking if they could sell the software I had shared here. Quite simply, if WizGizmo and other incredible sharers thought this was acceptable they would stop sharing here, keep the stuff for themselves and sell them for their benefit and profit.

Downloading templates, software, eBooks linked here for the purpose of selling them elsewhere is not the spirit of BHW forum and in my opinion is worthy of a permanent ban.

LOL...Of course you can sell them if you are willing to face the consequences. Seriously though that is probably not a good idea. Why not make use of the templates in some way to make the money instead?

your safeast bet, again, you probably shouldn't do anything like this, because once you sell something it turns it from a crime like tearing a tag off a mattress to, a real and possibly jail time type of crime. But if i were to sell something, id do it in a membership site where your not actually selling them but your selling membership to the site, and id also not use them to entice others to buy membership, as that would fall into the same lines as selling them. If i were you id setup a free template site, like i have, templatesite.info and maybe a membership site like i have, members.turnkeysworld.com and on the template site, market the member site. but thats what i would do.

With all the plr and mmr stuff available on this site, why would you bother risking something that hasnt got resale rights?

Many of the templates found on BHW are from some pretty reputable and well-known template sites. I personally feel that trying to sell these types of templates would be asking for trouble and blatantly not worth the risk.

Hypothetically speaking, if one of these sites were to discover that you were selling their material for profit, it would be considered an infringement upon intellectual property. The template owner would most likely file a cease and desist or pursue criminal charges. You certainly don't want this kind of drama...lol.
