what info do affiliate banners pass along?

for the affiliate banners that log not just clicks/leads to the site but also impressions of the banner, what other info do they gather from those impressions? visitor ip? referer? thanks

ouch, and its hard to understand the wording of the rules, but i'm guessing they wouldn't like it if you cloaked these

I dont think it would matter to them whether you cloak your links or not. Anyways they are getting their sale and are making money out of that
