Hi everyone, I'm glad I found this place - it seems very interesting :D

Basically, I have nothing. Apart from some skill in Photoshop I haven't anything, and an empty paypal account. I'd appreciate some pointers or even donations to get the ball rolling for me - I'm a hard worker and would gladly do work for anyone here.

Thanks,
U215.

You need to figure out a plan.

Maybe spend some time reading, and figure out what you'd like to do to make money.

If you want to use your photoshop to make money you may want to have a web page or blog up somewhere showing your examples.

You can start a free blog on blogger or wordpress if you have no money. Or even a photobucket account to show examples of your work.

Why not offer some photoshop services (logo design maybe?) in the Freelance section. You any good with editon PSD files (from TemplateM0nster)

You have a desire and bhq - already half way there. Good luck, read the forums, settle on a plan and then put it into action - the hardest bit is always to stop reading and start doing.

Yes, good luck and keep reading! Dare I say also that it's always best to truly understand the whitehat aspects of IM first so that you can then move onto complimentary blackhat techniques with a firm education....

A good place to start for whitehat stuff would be to download Wealthy199's .pdf guide - do a search on BHW for Everest Internet Marketing.

I'm fairly new in the affiliate world, been doing it for about 7 months. The first steps I made were gathering knowledge. Making a list of all the "useful" forums (black hat world...hint hint), and useful informative sites. Spent a lot of time reading everything that looked useful. My goal was to begin with a good solid foundation, knowledge wise. After that found the niche that I thought I could promote the best, found some programs that I looked into, and was on my way.
Remember getting from point A to point B is achieved step by step, well until I finish building my teleportation machine anyways...
Good Luck.

Thanks for the replies, but can anyone suggest any ways of making small amounts through paypal?

Hi, user215. Welcome to BHW. You won't find any handouts here. What you will find is priceless knowledge that must be learned and applied. We all had to start somewhere, and generally most of us were once where you are now. Do a little research on IM via your favorite search engine. Expand the basic knowledge you learned there by complimenting it with the search function here. Many here are willing to help but you must help yourself first. As others have pointed out, decide what exactly you are looking to market. You stated that you have photoshop skills. You could begin by capitalizing on those skills.

try to read the sticky threads especially in the money making forum. there are lots of Q&A from the threads therefore it should give u a basic understanding of what you can do.. There is even one thread (if i remembered correctly) that give a summary of important threads here...

after that it's on your own :)
it's more of practices and trials... and do take note of what are the can dos and can't dos .. The info here will earn u bucks as long as u DID try it out...

For (very) small amounts, head over to DP and do some forum posting jobs. Or make a logo or layout in photoshop and sell it, it's amazing what kind of crap people over there pay for. Or complete someone's CPA offers for a cut of the comission.

That will only make you a small amount though - which is all you really need to begin with I guess. $2 for a domain name. Make a layout, host it somewhere (free if needs be), write a few articles, for God's sake spell check 'em and then sell it for $10. You've quintupled your money. Congratulations.

There are only a million ways of doing this.

Too many programs to mention offer paypal payments. You could get a paypal payment for selling your photochop work.

You need to create your own plan.

Like someone said, you aren't going to find any hand outs, but I can assure you all the answers you are looking for can be found in one form or another on this forum.

Read for about 3 days straight and I'm sure something will hit you. There is a little search box there at the top somewhere when you need specific information.

Thanks to everyone for replying, you guys are very helpful and motivational :D I now know what to do, and will further my knowledge as far as I can.

Thanks, although I don't know what "DP" is, sorry for my ignorance :)

DP= digital.point forum where all newbie affiliate marketers start at. I started at wicked.fire but since coming here have increases my knowledge and income 10 fold (at least) There is just a plethora of info here on how to make money. Remember the key to riches:

1) Its not what you make, its what you keep
2) You'll always be wealthy if you spend less than you make
3) Automated and Outsourcing are the calling cards of successful business people

Or... something like that.
