best way to rank 1000s low competition keys?

Hello all

What are in your opinion the best methods to rank for thousands of keywords with low competition?
And which software?

Please help a noob

for how long do you want to rank?

--> fasted way use one of the automated site builders such as YACG (BW) etc...

Create thousands of keyword optimized pages, then get them spidered fast + indexed with a couple of backlinks. Pretty simple.

If the competition is really low (like below a few thousand) then you could actually just use posts on a blog with a ton of tags = keyword stuffing. ( Or use tags in any web 2.0 property, or like categories etc.)

yes I know, not difficult to create pages and get links from blogs, but it seems not to work great.

I just tried with wordpress networks linked to 1000s auto generated pages but it got really poor traffic and I can't even pay the hosting.

This is why I'm asking if someone has better way, if someone is interested I'm hiring here
