Not sure where this should go but it sure seemed Black Hat to me.

Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

100% ethical. The whole idea is 100% unethical.

I wonder if that means that they are going to have some sort of customer service department, that actually tries to help clients, something that have neglected in the past?
I also have to wonder if they are going to drop the whole “anything you do to your website for the sole purpose of making it rank higher is unethical” line? It would be more unethical to charge someone $25,000.00 per year and do nothing.
My two cents, on a fair playing field Google’s SEO team (100 strong) wouldn’t have a chance. All they can do is create some content and submit it to a couple directories. I don’t see them being able to compete that way.

Sorry but the 25k is per month not year![]()
Hmmm, I'll belive it when it comes from a more credible source. Can't see it happening myself.

$25,000 per month is peanuts for some companies..... The ones they are targeting probably spend $10,000+ per DAY on adwords
"Difficult takes a day, Impossible takes a week."
lol that is very funny client send them $25K they just change their alghoritm that client website are in first page and that's itok this a joke they won't do it but they coul lol. In fact this is very weird google itself always claimed that backlinks for every website should appera naturally e.g if somone liked website they link to it. What do they plan to do for $25K? use only Onpage SEO?
I find it strange that no one else is talking about it and the author didn't link out to anything that would prove her claims.
I also find it even stranger that someone would have nothing better to do then to sit around and make this stuff up.
It’s my reason for posting it here. I was wanting to know if anyone else had heard anything about this.
And what happens if you stop paying them? This is close to paid organic search as you are going to get if it happens.
I think that this is a bunch of BS, and if Google ventures into the SEO market, they are just going to giving themselves more headaches then it's worth.
And customer service. For the little guys it is a joke, but when you are spending $25K+ a month in PPC you get access to your own PPC customer service rep. I know guys that spend that much and more, and they have their own personal contact at Google they call if they have any issues.
I call bullshit can't find any other source for this information.
I call BS... i didn't find a single credible source that has reported this and Google being on Wall Str. and everything you would think that at least one major media outlet will report they are planning to create a new service..... not to mention that the whole thing is a huge conflict of interest and pretty much anyone will be able to sue them and win.
It couldnt be real, I mean wow you could spend 25k a month and get number one spot for the highest paying offer around and make twice that back.
If it was true I would get a loan just to do it haha.
Haha... The author of this article knows NOTHING about SEO. He talk about SERP as Page Rank.
25,000$ to get a better "Page Rank", funny stuff.
Think Outside the Box. Never Give Up. Scale it Up
how's the service ?, 25K/month for :
- site name
- site url
- primary keyword
- secondary keyword
- description
this news is best joke on April... LOL
if they release this service officially, maybe i'll ask review service![]()

Google will face big antitrust lawsuits. They have adwords to make money. Now the biggest companies will just have to pay 25k per month to get top spot. I don't think they will do that because they will lose millions from adwords. Many adwords advertisers pay hundreds of thousands per month. If thay can pay just 25k why would someone continue to use adwords ?

Don't try it! Huge waste of money, I paid 25k and the guys at Google sent out a bunch of xRumer blasts and ended up getting my site sandboxed.
Possible, but highly unlikely.

Bullshit. Google is more clever than any other online business. Why would they cause themselves problems they don't need? I could imagine an idiot company, like Yahoo doiong this, but Google?
Na, total bollocks, they'd never kill the golden goose for the paltry sum of $25k per month. They used to slap and ban advertisers that spent that in a day...

Two words: utter BS.

I think this guy got his wires crossed with the old corporate licensing offer that google used to make for larger companies, back when they were trying to get the more commonly known franchises to come online. That project went down the tubes some time ago, as Google got busted by stock holder disapproval, as the concept of any business with the money coming in and outright purchasing a permanent keyword lease is a fair business trade violation.
Very interesting.....
Matt Cutts just responded to the rumors with this tweet...
The link is to this article which explains how everything got started - April Fools Joke 27 Days Later.More to debunk the "Google to enter SEO business" myth: http://goo.gl/d6Qy Someone at NewsWire thought April Fools = real
Enjoy!
It's interesting how Google went from "something cool" to "evil empire".
I almost believed this fake news!
i doubt this would ever happen
Right, how are u gonna play for the team u own..kinda like me being a coach for a basket ball team, and in the 3rd quarter I come out in shorts and jersey..lmao..i know that will go over some peoples head..lol

$100,000 is on the low end for some of those, and why throw it away on affiliate sales?!
