I've been working on a Squidoo lens to promote an affiliate product. the lens is the page in my sig.

I've written two different unique articles and submitted them to two different article directories, GoArticles and ezinearticles. Each article had a link to my site in it. I've made a couple of legitimate Blogger and Wordpress blogs, each with links to my site in them. I've uploaded videos to a bunch of video sharing sites, each with links in the video description. I've used Digg and Stumbleupon a couple of times. I've pinged my lens, videos, blogs, articles, and everything else I could think of.

All of these articles and videos and blogs are indexed in Google. My Squidoo lens is also indexed. How come when I check for backlinks to my lens, there are no results returned?!?!

Just my 2cents as I'm not an expert in backlinks :

Google's backlinks search function just sucks, many sites have a whole bunch of backlinks from indexed pages, and this function return only a few or no results at all...

On Yahoo Search use site:yourURL.com and see the real set of backlinks. Google sucks.

Your best bet would be to use Yahoo site explorer. Just go to yahoo, search for yahoo site explorer and throw your squidoo link in there and it will tell you how many backlinks it has.

I just ran a search with your link, must not be indexed in yahoo yet. It doesnt show anything. Sorry my friend not sure why?
