PRStorm bascially goes to the sites that you tell it to, and it puts your site as the referrer. That is why you look for sites with public AWStats. This way you will get a backlink to your site.

Not sure about 100% or 50%, but my guess would be the speed at which it goes to sites.

You should never run PRStorm over:

Hits per URL = 4
Number of Threats = depends how many anonymous proxies you have, I would use no more then half. Meaning if I have 20 proxies I would only use 10 threats ....

you want to be on the safe side using PRStorm

I had some conversations with another member here 6 months ago about referrer spamming, he went all out and got some calls from some pissed off people. We were both running several prstorm like programs for a while. I see the links are still indexed in G but on the sites that I used only referrer spamming as a test, the effect was zero.

Maybe someone has conflicting reports but in my personal opinion of prstorm and similar software is that its not worth anything anymore. This is only my experience, maybe someone else has had different results.

If you are still looking to try it, you need to create URL lists of sites running awstats and webalizer. Use inurl: to find them.

PRStorm will also piss off your ISP.

It still can bring in quite a few people and backlinks still show.... well you need to "renew" them every few month.

The most important think about using any referrer spamming technique is to

1)have a very good and interest specific URL list (meaning if your site is about flowers, use PRStorm to "spam" only other flower sites....)

2)don't overdo it, make smaller URL lists - so you don't run it for several hours, use under 40 threats (>100 proxies) etc ... see above
