no but seriously, I am not totally sure what is going on with this, but I can tell you the facts:

1. Started having steady income from affiliate project.

2. suddenly commissions went all random, then dropped completely.

3. my original links which were tinyurls (not that dumb anymore)
became broken.

4. messed around with the links, and as a result made sudden sales,
there is a link there i am sure, although coincedence is possilbe, this happened several times, and still does.

5. Got ad-aware pro, and discovered a malware file named "SweetIM"
I get the feeling it should have been named something more suiting like "lowlifescumbagaffiliatecommissionstealer,bysomena ivefromBHW.exe"

6. deleted this, and ran free AVG which is what I was running back then.

7. Was recommended by seoagent of this forum to get another virus program.
and did that. Ran the scan, and was told to restart.

8. On restart, my computers password no longer worked, and this resulted in me having to reinstall windows and losing a lot of stuff that was not backed up.

9. After reinstalling, and getting better protection, well so I thought. I then changed all my links again.

10. Sales began to become very good again for a week or so, and I even had a $340 day, my highest yet.

11. Sales dropped, and in fact made only one sale over a whole week.

12. Reinstalled Ad-Aware pro, scanned, and found a malware file called something like "possible browser hijacker for internet explorer" or thereabouts.

13. And thats where it stands, still running ad-aware every day, and virus scans to be sure. Sales have not returned to normal, but I am making them at least.

Be very careful hanging out here people. I have no doubt in my mind that the "SweetIm" malware that was stealing my commissions Id say, was downloaded within something that I got from BHW.

Also, I have read threads here about people getting access to others passwords for BHW and then using that password and tracking their IPs and getting into PayPal accounts, etc.

BE FUCKING CAUTIOUS is the message here.

Hey I love getting free downloads, and this place is awesome for knowledge, and there are some cool folk here, but I am very wary about what people can do to track you and fuck with you from this forum.

Just my experience...

well, I know this is an old post but I found it quite fascinating and still relevant / useful. I'd love to hear more about how the story unfolded if at all possible.

The hijacking thing is quite concerning for someone like me who is just starting out. At the same time though, your results are quite encouraging and I know I will one day be at that $300+/day mark. cheers.

OP, i'd suggest if you download software from here, no if you download software you usually should pay for anywhere. Just try it out in a virtual machine. I have one virtual machine running all those tools for bookmarking etc.. Saves you having to scan your machine every day.

Sorry to dig up this old thread of mine from the grave, but regarding protecting yourself, I only ever visit anything dodgy on the net, including BHW (sorry BHW, you know I love you, but you are full of shady blackhatters ) IF i am accessing the internet from within a virtual machine, such as VM Ware

It's the safest way to fly folks, don't risk your business by keeping your important files, etc on the same OS

If you are afraid of getting hacked u should consider doing everything you do to manage ur sites involving passwords etc from a virtual machine running xp with steadystate from ms. This software puts the pc in a clean state after each reboot. Also dont use internet explorer and never save passwords in your browser. Memorize them or even keep them on hardcopy in your safe. This way even if a virus worm or trojan infects ur virtual system it will be clean again after a reboot. If u notice things going haywire reboot the system and change all ur passwords imidiatly of all online accounts. Most of the time these malware programs steal passwords by decrypting stored passwords or intercepting http posts you do and reporting them back to a server somewhere where shady people use them to login to ur accounts and modify data so they get the earnings instead of you.

Just my 2 cents.

Well since this thread is already dug up, and the OP posted, can we have a small report? Perhaps just the income you are making now? Also even though this post was dug up it gave some ideas for making traffic (i finally have the hang of making a site but I need to start building traffic since the most i ever get is like 1-10 a day on my best sites), thank you.

Some of you guys, may feel offended by posting earnings, but it will reinforce this thread. At this point, my conclusion is, you wasted a lot of time, but learned some quite few stuff on the way, but have nothing to show for it.
