Got Feared of Enforching Legal Action

I registered a domain name www.tamildownload.at before 1 year in idotz.net,,,,,, and i did not used that domain so i leave it,, now it got expired,,,,

today i got a Invoice letter from nic.at,,, saying this,,,

Invoice No : XXXXXX
Invoice Date : 25.1.10
Debitor Number : xxxxxxxxx
Due Date : 11.3.10

We are charging the following fees for the domain(s) listed below.
Please regard the due date in order to avoid additional costs by paying in due time. In case of non-payment, the domain may be canceled and re-allocated to a third party. Should this happen, the demands for payment will still be valid and nic.at may enforce legal measures to retrieve the due amount.

domain/service ----- tamildownload.at

service period ----- 20.2.10-19.2.11

amount ---- 30,00 EUR

please help me with this,,,,,,,, what i want to do,, do i face any legal action,, please

Ring/email them and say you don't want it anymore and therefore will no be renewing or paying the invoice.

Unless you signed/agreed to something saying you'll keep it for X number of years then you should be OK.

Do you really think they are going to do anything to you for 30 bucks? They would have to file a court date (which costs them money), have someone show up to court (again, costs money), prep the court documents etc. Between time and fees that would cost them $1000 to get their 30.

They can't even send you to debt collection because no collector would waste their time for the $5 they will make off of it.

Tell them you don't want it anymore and to piss off.

They are not going to do anything about it. Don't worry about it.
