Exactly. I never social bookmark.

Re: Most Big Social BM Sites Are Now NOFOLLOW
Yeah but I guess it's good to have a bit of nofollow links, if you have 100% ******** it will look suspicious, as well as if you have only links from one platform (say, only wordpress disqus comments for example)
Usually I bookmark my brand new sites to get them indexed without passing too much juice.
But yeah when they get bigger it's better to use others methods (see d3t0x sig ^^)

I think it's just to index your site faster, since these sites are crawled very frequently.

I agree. The only reason I bookmark is to get linkwheel properties, blogs, doorway pages etc indexed.

Re: Most Big Social BM Sites Are Now NOFOLLOW
Use nofollows to get some references to your lowball keywords. If your domain has some good authority built up, getting nofollow backlinks with anchors you don't target when getting ******** (or PR) links generally makes sense.

Re: Most Big Social BM Sites Are Now NOFOLLOW
Nofollow links are designed for creating a hyper link and not associating with that site. Do not believe that the robot pretends that link is not there. The sites are crawled frequently and you will be crawled very quickly as your site will be added to the list.
The only difference is a nofollow link does not give the "vote" as Google likes to put it. It does still show up to the crawler bots, thus is still indexed by the bots.
(Also sometimes nofollow links show up in your webmasters tools, just as an extra back up to what I just said.)

If you bookmark correctly apart from the links you can expect a significant amount of traffic. Not to mention search engine population.
