Talking My adsense results for my blog (not so great)

It has been close to two months and I checked my adsense to see how I was doing. My niche was an electronic device and I put a few yelp listings up to get traffic. I also had about 10 blog entries the first week and never touched the blog after that. It still manages to get about 100 people a day and nets me a little over .50 a day. Criticism please. Should I make 100 more of these?

your ecpm is so low.. i have never had ecpm lower than $20.

your ctr is low but quite okay.. i have never had ctr lower than 4%. most of the time around 8%.

try to reduce your adsense block. if you're a good writer, then placing your adsense block at the end of article will increase the ctr.

i'm talking based on my experience, okay. there is no saying what worked for me will work for you too. it's all about testing. i think your niche is good but you should at least tell people here the cpc of your main keyword so that people will not make the false assumption which leads to the wrong analysis and opinions.

The technology field is very competitive and most of the users are internet savvy and know whats an ad and whats not. I think you are doing the right thing, just perhaps move to a different niche area.

The answer is yes, keep making the blogs, keep experimenting with adsense placement and experiment with other types of monitization. The main reason I say keep building blogs is that by the time you have figured out the best way to layout and promote your blog, you will have a butt load of aged blogs sitting there ready to be optimized for adsense, other forms of monitization and/or backlinks. And who knows they may even be making you a little cash.
