My strapline in bold on my site says

Sofisticated, no strings, sex

My partner who owns the affiliate company we are working with says that if you advertise any kind of meet for sex type site, then google do not list you?

Is this true? I note that Adult friend finder dont have any issues with SEX on the front page, nor do some porn sites liek red tube and so on.

My site does not have any images other than what you would expect to see on an adult dating platform, so no pussys, tits etc.

Can you shed any lights, or should I be safe and dump that strapline loosing the word sex????

Google loves sex sex sites I would say.It pretty much dominates the internet.

It would hardly arouse the target demographic and subsequent conversions if the site was a milieu of grammatic cock ups. I have dyslexia so oftentimes I have to take my time when spelling. Sorry about that, dont want to appear like a thick moron baboon when asking for assistance from the Spartans of SEO.

Really so I quote from my partner who works for the adult affiliate..

"Advertising sex - google can sometimes be funny about this, so please ensure that within your content, particularly on the first page users will come to, that you're not fully advertising the site as a sex site"

I did have an indication that a. She knows I am going to do better than the other partners on the scheme or b. the company dont want to push the fact that its partners advertise sex, which is basically what adult dating is right?

I really like the phrase sophisticated, no strings, sex, - to me it says "look boys if you have money and are not a cock, you might get laid, on our rather cool and non scam looking site, so give us your money and put your dick away"

BUT if its going to end up killing our rating and current PR to change our strapline I will have to replace the word sex with something like "bunnies"

Aren't we cool, pointing out typing errors? We sure never made errors ourselves, don't we? (Especially in this niche. Guys SO dig sophisticated usage of the English language, amirit?)

@Debbie: I've never heard of Google penalizing sites related to that niche. It's big business everywhere, so especially for them.

EDIT: if you'd replace "sex" by "bunnies", you'd have my respect.

I got a site listed just a couple of days ago and that had sex in the url.

I did hear the big g doesnt take too kindly to these, but i was indexed nonetheless.

Sex is a highly competitive keyword, however, dating and sex are two different things.

If you look on google under the search box you have something called Google Safe Search, what this does is filter sex sites out and is in use with a lot of businesses + internet cafes. Generally by keeping sex of the frontpage, your site has a chance of not getting caught in this filter.

IMHO sophisticated, no strings, sex doesnt make much sense as a strapline. I think Your contradicting yourself sophisticated is too close to complicated. Personally I would go for something like (Classy girls, rich girls, high-class girls, etc.) no strings attached, just sex. Just my opinion feel free to criticize it.

well again for starters, you should try thinking of all of the people that have the safe moderate search on. and also, google will pop up what you type in. for instance, if i type in
no strings attatched sex,
then your site will pop up. but please take notice to all of the affiliate websites and dating websites that already say that, you should really re-think your keywords and
go on with it.
