Redirect Blogger Help

I'm trying to set up a redirect on Blogger but it looks like it won't let me. I using a meta refresh but keep getting this error message when I didn't change anything except the redirect:

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The reference to entity "skin" must end with the ';' delimiter.

I'm aware of the new redirect feature in Blogger but it's not fluid and still warns the visitor. Anyone know a workaround?

you have to revert back to the classic template

Try to put this code directly before the <head> tag.(like here)

But may you have just some issuses with your Blogger theme?

I use this way too. Don't bother posting the meta refresh, you just go straight to editing the HTML of the template and post it in the <head> tags.
