I have a copy of PrStorm, and after playing around with it, I decided to give it a go, using the list of URLs that came with it. It's a long process, and after an overnight run, I stopped it at 31%.

Then I googled my URL, http://www.factsaboutmarijuana.net, and this is what I found

1 PR1 link
2 PR0 links

both coming from posted referral logs!

This was after about 14 hours or so, so I was very impressed with the results. Now I'm wondering how many I will get total out of that run, by giving it more time.

I am beginning to run a full 100% go with 3 links, and will post the results. Should take around 3 days total!

Try it with your own harvested URLs you will have much more dramatic results and some traffic to boot.
 
How to harvest a lot of URLs though? The URL harvester seems to only get links that are on one page.
 
I use my own script for it. I don't know of any public URL harvesters I wish I did than I wouldn't have paid to get mine made.

Yes, I am quite the noob, how do you use this program? It looks like its doing something cool when I press start.

Yes, I've Googled. This says nothing to me.
 
it seems just gud.But exactly how much time does it takes to attract 1000s or atleast 100s of visitors? All I want is just crappy traffic. I don't bother about targetted.

Anyone have some suggestions?
 
PrStorm works by pinging thousands of sites at a time, and when a site is pinged, it says that one person went to your site from [your URL here]. If the site publically publishes it's referral logs (giving links to all sites who sent a ping), your website gets a blacklink. More backlinks = more PR = higher SERPS. It also gets you some good traffic
 
Sorry for the noob question, but to "harvest urls", does that mean gather and find them?

Yes, in this case the meaning of "harvest" is to find urls, collect them and save to your list or database.
 
I will give this a try I've used other programs and this seems really easy

PRstorm is a very powerful program and you hit the nail on the head. Be careful though, you may get in trouble with your ISP using this tool. It IS a spam tool, use it sparingly...

There are a few other threads that discuss PRstorm here on BHW, do a search to learn more.
 
Huh I want to see the results of running it all the way to 100%
 
Seriously. From that 40% done I'm up to about 30 backlinks.
 
If you don't mind, can you
upload PR Storm to mediafire?
Heard a lot of it, but unable to download
just about anything from RS.
