Hello all, been a long time viewer and not a huge poster here, been working to much. Now that I got time off Im going to get into some serious coding.

Been doing some market research and leerking in many forums looking for a concept that I can get started on and there seems to be allot of focus on social media inclusions (fully automated), article rewriting, etc.....

I have been in SEO long enough to know that building a standard set of tools IE meta tag generators, rank checkers, submit to 100,00- search engines is just the wrong direction

My questions would be

1. what would you want to see in a full app created

2. what are your top concerns

3. what price point do you want to see it at, be reasonable here please

I will watch the thread here and as soon as I can figure out direction and coding, I can get started and allow for beta testing

Thanks guys, great forum here and I look forward to building something out

cheers

1. Link-wheel creation on autopilot. Automatic bookmarking accounts - also on autopilot.
2. That it will not be possible.
3. Around $100 would be fair

Thanks seo20, I appreciate the input, I'm seeing alot of areas that want full auto pilot. I will definetly keep that in mind as I develop

Thanks again

The tool I have always wanted to see is, a tool that if you give it say for example a pr5 it could do a search for a list of sites with that pr ranking, Don't know how hard that would be, but I reckon quite hard. Not sure about price though.

That would definelty work through google API structure .... BUT google would ding a fee based on user use for API. PR is only based on google tech. At SEO chat there tool section has a free tool that kind of does that ( im not putting in the url for it, do a serach on google for "search for PR sites) but you will notice that most of the time the results come back blank due to not proper setup

This is gonna be a bigt long....

The "Dream App" would be a pluggable architecture application. Where new plugs could be added, old ones removed, etc. within a browser framework (FireFox ideally).

The initial modules would consist of:

Library - Seperated into Articles and Images. Built right in so later plugs coulld let you call up handy items out of the library. Including RSS Feeds, etc to make building Web2.0 properties a little more uniform and easier/faster.

Blog Publish - This plug would set up a way where once user/pass is stored with URL, etc. you could pick things up out of the Library and push them to your various blogs, hub, squidoo, myspace, facebook, etc. If there's spinning to do, I'd set it up in here for on-the-fly or have a seperate spinning mnodule

Okay, Spin Module - Lets you grab an article from the Liibrary, breaks it into title and sentences, then let's you put multiple replacements for each sentence so you can spin your articles. This would either couple with Blog Publish or simply store the spun articles in the Library for use. If it simply stores in the Library, make the Library keep tabs on the versions for you (if used, etc).

And on, and on, and on. Could even make each Web2.0 property a seperate plug.

This has a crapload of benefits for the user, shouldn't be horrid to code, and (on the business side of the world) deliver alot of bang for the buck while allowing you (the developer) to keep building updates, new plugs, etc. for the framework and releasing them often with small fees for additional plugs or even a subscription service and auto-update (and FireFox has a method built in for auto-update).

Anyway, that's what I'd drop maybe $100 on plus a small update subscription or addon feature cost for.

Great input thanks, as for moving things around for use of use, I could do stuff in Ajax for that so that you could have your own architecture look if you want...as for rewriters I was looking into that just now again and i would definetly have to be above any markov style of input....I will definetly follow re write moduals...

Basically, a program that does everything, i know that's a bit vague, but if you could develop a program like SE Nuke, make it cheaper, more features (better account/profile management) I attempted to make an SE Nuke clone at the beginning of this year, by the time id coded the automated for a few sites, the ones i did first needed updating again.

I actually had better success with iMacros, rather than VB.NET2008 because it was quicker and easier to update, and changing one thing didn't necessarily destroy something else.

Auto forum PM senders seem to be a popular subject on here at the moment, although there seems to a kind chap already developing a free one, i've downloaded it but didnt have time to play with it much and it seemed like a nice program. But maby you could add a auto PM into your "everything" application.

You really are going to end up developing something that feels like an entire OS, your users will log in/open it up and have every tool they need to make money with ought leaving the application.

What would my dream application be? code me a program to download pizzas - i've been trying for years! :P

To be honest mate I would look at your own websites and think up a tool or set of tools that will help to automate or speed up some of your work.

I wouldn't expect any huge ideas from someone else on what would sell well or be useful, those great ideas have to be thought through and the best person to get these is yourself, unless you go the route of being a freelance programmer.

Thanks for all the input so far, much appreciated. This is helping me plan out some direction.I just wanted input from people that have tried things that they believe work and take it to the next level. I have come across so many offerings so for that are clones of one another just being resold as PLR and thats an area that i rather not travel. As for looking at my own sites... I have, I prefer to get as much input from others that have tried various areas and had success or failure

pizza app would be nice....beer one would be better :)

1) A flexible scraper which embeds full rss content and optionally rewrites. The ultimate autoblogger/scraper :)

2) tool which uses adwords API to create and upload adwords ads automatically.

i then would make a dynamic site (using news feeds, trends etc...) and then each time the site is automatically updated it would also upload ads to immediately start PPC. Ths is impossible to do for Google trends since this can change any hour...and time isn't enough for SEO, so it would have to be PPC.

Thanks Im already on a specific Google adwords app right now, utilizing Ad copy areas and landing page creation but its server based in PHP dealing in QS issues , all will be integrated through API

Thanks for the scraper points, I got a few PM's on that alone :) seems to be a big request

cheers

I have some C# code to get pagerank. (NOT via API).

simple - an article spinner that produced unique Copyscape passed text that was HUMAN READABLE - you could probably charge whatever you liked for that!

the ultimate tool...that's a tough one but I think i have a few ideas.

1. A automated eBay cookie stuffer - Plus it can Create the listings for you and can grab descriptions from other listings to use in your listing by using keywords that you set.

2. a Facebook accept all friend requests tool would be nice...can even market this on FB

3. A delayed Twitter updater

Thanks guys for all the input, Im taking notes on everything

cheers
