I am a newbie in the social marketing. Now I am using Twitter for social marketing. I have read a lot of threads in this and other forums about twitter ads and followers, but in vain. Most of threads are posted long time before and even some tends to be completely
incomprehensible.

When I begin firstly, I try to find if someone are working with the promoted account or have experiences relate to that. But maybe due to the short time of the business, I found none.
And then I thought maybe I can get account with numerous followers or may be I can work out a way to make my twitter retweet by many people, but I failed again.
Yet, during this period, I found Hootsuite and Tweepi to help me manage my acounts in an easier way. The former can manage several acounts at the same time,including twitter,facebook,skype and others.You can do all operation through it. It also have other functions like analyze but I have not used.The second one can clear up of filter your followers and list out acounts for you to follow.
I use them everyday to update my tweet and filter my followers, it do have make things different but little. I following about 200 people everyday and the next day I filter out those who didn't follow back. (I am not dare to following too many accounts otherwise the Twitter might regard mine as spammer.......Then everything would be game over(╯◕◞౪◟◕‵) However, I also don't know what the bottom line before Twitter find out.)

It has been 3 days since I used the two tools, my following are increasing little by little,but it is far from enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even that I have only 100 follower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What should I do???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I try to tweet everyday...but....Jusus,there's really nothing to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And I thought maybe there's something called cultural gap among people from different countries...........................

Ok first of all. Exclamation marks are not to be taken lightly. Easy with the emotions there Todd.
Secondly, I also use Tweepi, I have just over 5500 followers and can easily get 200 to 300 followers in a day if I want to. My advice is to be patient if it's only been a few days. It took me months to get to 5000. Do it every day and it may take sooner. You could buy followers right here on BHW if you want. Try following people that follow @teamfollowback on Twitter. Other than that, it just takes patience son.
