Ive been shown that my IP is blacklisted and i had no idea, but i havent done anything i can think of as i dont break TOS of any services.
It says im listed in these 3 things
SEM-BLACK
SORBS-DUHL
Spamhaus-ZEN

Im abit puzzled, can someone explain to me what these are about? as far as i can tell im getting done for spam.. which is impossible because the only emails ive sent are the ones to myself for testing and thats 1 email at a time ive never mailed in bulk, i dont have an email list of any kind either..

Your own personal ip. Or your webhosts ip ?

Most probably someone from your network did it, not you.... They usually block the last and the second last series of your IP...e.g. 10.10.*.*, and 10.10.10.*

Contact your service provider for more help..

and where is your ip coming from. cable? dsl?
ips are rotated from a pool and change every so often by your isp. its quite possible you got assigned an ip that someone in the past has abused.

talk to your isp to renew a lease for a new assigned ip. in some cases its as easy as unplugging your cable modem for 15 minutes and plugging it back in.

This is what it said for me. I can change my ip just by restarting my router so doesn't really matter but still. It seems more like a glitch than anything else. I wouldn't give it much though if i were you.

use a vps with proxies

To the best of my knowledge you get listed there due to Bulk Email Sending using an IP,
However, I believe every list has an option to submit a request to remove your IP from the list. It can take some time to process the requests, so the best thing is to contact your ISP and request for renewal of your IP Lease or otherwise you may need to use a proxy server to route your traffic from.

Most likely the VPS you were using died and your real IP was used for a bit which caused this (it happens occasionally). Just reset your MAC address and get a new IP.

I believe that the OP is in fact talking about his local computer's IP

I think he means VPN not vps.

Im on a static ip with my isp and ended up on those lists due to crappy proxys going transparent. Took some begging but i got a new ip.

Yeah sorry, I meant VPN.

I'm kind of spoiled I guess, I can just change 1 digit of my mac address and my internet will reset with a new ip in about a minute.

If your on cable reset your router and get a new IP!! If not contact your ISP and ask them to release your ip.
