Help: PHP Scrape google serp for links using proxy?

I need to build this for an SEO tool... but is this even possible?

I found a nice script here {I can't post links so google: google scrape curl php script, and click first result} but it seems like that method doesn't work anymore, maybe it's too old? I've tried a few different scripts, google seems to catch on to all of them.

When trying these scripts, I get redirected to a sorry page which displays a captcha. (the proxy is working)

Does anyone know how I can read the contents of a google page from PHP? Thank you.

Nevermind.

Turns out all my proxies were on google's blacklist. You just need to have good private proxies. The script I talked about works fine if anyone wants to try
