Default AMR is buggy as shit. Im about fed up!

I am not the most technical person in the world and ever since I have bought AMR all it has been doing is crashing and not working. Always having to install new updates delete older versions is rediculous since I have only owned it for two weeks and I have already had to do this 4 times.

Am I the only one? I am going to find a way to retrun this bos and get something else. Aritcle Demon??

Well, for me it isn't working at all at the moment

I've used it in the past with good results ( I mean untill last week )

Now, for like 5 days straight, doesn't work

Totally failing at every fkin site

I would suggest to wait a little longer, maybe we will get a response or an update duno

But it definately worths to have it if it will work ok again

AMR is dead, this happens with one-off payment desktop s/w.

Time to move on to the next thing.

Wow. I feel like I have been conned. Is it too much to ask for software that works? Has it ever been stable? Vince seems quite annoyed that I email him everyday and post in the forum. He needs to step up his game and get a stable version or stop selling his bugggy ass software. I paid for a fully function product and I have yet to receive it. I wonder if I could get a refund.

It is good to see that others are experience these same problems as me, I thought I was crazy for a moment lol

As far as I know I've not had a single problem with it, although have there been updates lately? I haven't had any mail from Vince or the team.

Works for me! And it's really helped rank a few of my sites. Reach out to the developer, he's a member here and he can be very helpful.

The beta version is better than the "current" version at the moment. When the "beta" version is finalized it should be working as well as it was at first.

AMR is my go to tool, but it is definitely having some issues. I am running beta 10 on a xsserver VPS with a successful submit rate of a little over 1000. (randomly spun article, not common niches (less common catagories)

I have to restart it after every run.

The developer seems to be the only support and who knows how many thousand of users there are. One person is not enough support and as you can tell it will definitely start hurting his sales and business

Well, I think I will go and get the beta also...if people say that it is better than the stable version

Definitely worth the price but if the developer doesn't do something soon I don't think that people will continue to use/buy it...

Why feel sorry? I paid money, I expect to have a functioning product. That is what happens when you don't hire support.

I was using my own scraped list and not the main default via the trial and was getting over 1k subs with about 400 or so live links.

A few days ago I downed it on a separate, higher powered laptop, to see if it would work better via a new trial before purchasing, uploaded the same list, and ended up with only about 110 live links.

    So end results were quatered!

Again, can't comment on what they have in the default list as it seems others are mentioned getting 1k or so live links per blast using the main software.

What? how are you guys getting 400-600 livelinks? I was getting at best 250-400 at my peak when I bought it just after panda but now I only get abut 70 livelinks tops.

I have made two different accounts recently following the instructions of how to get good sign ups but still the same.

Actually I prob get about double that but after I cut the deindexed livelinks it drops by 50-60% to 70. So I doubt anyone else is culling their dexindexed sites.

Enjoy wasting your time on those deindexed sites boys!

After playing around with it all day yesterday I think trying to squeeze more juice out of it is an effort in futility.

Still be interested to know how yall are getting 400-600 these days?

I also tried adding some of my own harvested lists but most were already in the index.

Another thing I noticed is it seems to be taking way more captchas than it used to for way worse results.

For the record I had been using the stable non beta but switched to beta to try it as ppl say it's better but still exact same results.

Also just so you guys know 6k of the site list is going to be deleted . Mainly cos the majority don't work. So it's not a bad thing as it cuts the fat but too bad there is no meat left on this poor old thing so we are left with an emaciated animal close to death.

It seems crazy to me that the developer is still working on updating this as article marketing is as good as dead from what I've noticed the past few months. If I were him I'd take all the earnings and get off that sinking ship now and start some new project/s.

This afternoon I submitted an article and checked the livelinks straight away. I got about 450 livelinks right after submission. Didn't use captcha sites for this submission at all.

Two days ago I checked a submission I did some time ago. I got >600 livelinks. Checked those with scrapebox and about 200 were indexed. From those which weren't indexed I checked the domains, 193 weren't indexed in Google. But the difference of 200+ articles can be indexed, even faster if I would help it a bit with a SB blast for example.

I harvest directories regularly and I find always some new ones which aren't in the list

As you say, deleting these sites is just cutting off the fat. Some bones are left with public sites and you can add the meat with harvesting our own directories. Just as an example, recently I found a PR4 site with just a few and not so busy authors accounts. I have always 4 to 5 articles with backlinks to my sites on the homepage.

I think the footprints were shared here already, nevermind here they are:

    Code:
    inurl:/author-panel/
    intext:"Welcome to article directory"
    intext:"published articles"+"registered authors"
intext:"registered authors in our article directory"
    Free Article Directory
    "Powered by free article directory"
"Use or our service is protected by our Privacy Policy"
"Powered by the original Free Article Directory"
    "Powered by Article Friendly"
    "Powered by ArticleMS"
    inurl:/articles/
    inurl:/art/
    inurl:/category/
    inurl:/articlems/
    inurl:/artms/
    Powered by Article Dashboard
    inurl:logintosubmitart.php
    "powered by article dashboard"
    inurl:/article/
    inurl: populararticles.php - article dashboard
    inurl:/profile/ - article dashboard -- profile page -- great!!!
    inurl:/login2submitart2.php - article dashboard
    inurl:/submitarticles.php - article dashboard
intext:"Confirmation request email was sent to your email address"
You can find them and some others in the scrapeboards forum.

I usually clean the list a little bit to get rid of URLs which are obviously no article directories, trim them to the root, compare them on domain level with the directories I have already and leave the rest to the AMR importer.

I just wanted to say that I take back what I said before. Vince the developer has gone above and beyond to fix the problem that I had and everything is working great. I truly think he is working as hard as he can to get the stable version out and running smooth. Back to ranking # 1!

Wow, that was a quick turnaround in comments.

Have the AMR heavies been round and put some heat on you or something?

What was the problem and what was the fix that was offered? Just thought it may be worth mentioning so that others know what to do if they run into the same issue.

This is the downside of a one time fee for software. It is such a bad business model that I am hesitant to ever lean to heavily on a one time fee product.

Vince should at least make it a yearly fee. Because there is no money or incentive to keep the software updated.

Haha I know. I was so frustrated before and it really does seem that the developer was working hard to get it up and running again. I got no heat from anyone. I just felt that maybe my comments were a little premature. The problem was that it was not accessing the DB and getting the live links. Vince did a team viewer session and fixed the error.

Im sure there are still some bugs but he seems to be really trying hard to fix the issues at hand

I bought and installed AMR a couple days ago and I was told to uninstall the normal version and install the beta (because the POP3 checker kept failing). Now it is fixed and I have no other problems.

I created accounts for about 520 directories, of which 460 succeeded. Today, I submitted 460 articles, of which 314 succeeded (the others failed primarily due to category mismatch). The same day, I check live links and have 114, while the rest are pending approval or have some error. However, most of these 114 links are from PR 0 and 1, which is expected.

I don't know about you guys, but is this normal? I think it's pretty good.

I didn't want to blast my new site with too many articles. Maybe I should, seeing how it is still uncached on G.com for some reason...wtf I don't even have duped content!

Why don't you use buffer sites (web 2,0 sites). I have been blasting just my web 2.0s and they are all ranking on first page even though I dont want them to rank. Switch up the anchor text and blast to web 2.0s and then link to your money site from there.
