What to learn develop seo tools?

Hi guys,

I am doing well in IM now. I want to design some tools like opening wp blog and posting from txt files. I know basic of php. I can edit wp blogs and create sites in php. But I have no idea in creating bots. I really like to design custom bots for my usage. Any idea on which language should i learn? VB? And some links for tutorial would be helpful...

If you want to build some software , read up on some C++ (Java) and get a Program the helps. I Think Microsoft do one , I did have it once but never used it.

Why not outsource it? Save yourself a lot of time.

If it's just for your personal use a lot of the automation from on desktop side can be accomplished with iMacros. Simple scripting straight to the point. Basically no learning curve at all. Of course if you want to create full-fledged applications and you're just starting try learning a dot net language. That will surely help hurt.

Learn to use VB.NET it's really easy to learn.

I already know c#.net a bit.. I will give it a shot for vb.net... And imacros..? sounds interesting.. I will also check that out.. thanks for the help guys..

I suggest that you stick with PHP but spend time learning curl, that is a powerful tool for bots.
