Do you strictly use keywords related to your niche?I find that the blogs harvested are quite limited if I just use keywords related to my niche. What are the benefits of commenting blogs related to your niche?

The benefits to it are that your links are more relevant to your blog. This allows the SE to pick mark the backlink as "higher quality" compared to if you posted on a blog that is not in your niche which would be identified as "low quality".

Thats how I see it.

thats right.

OP, if your asking that question you should read more about SEO and go through googles SEO guide (pdf here). Not saying that to be an ass, Im being genuine. Dont just throw a bunch of crap at the wall and hope some sticks. Learn what Googles looking for so that you can throw exactly what you need. Good luck

Commenting on blogs related to your niche gives you a high approval rate especially if you have targeted comments related to that niche. I have not really seen any difference in search ranking whether or not your backlinks are coming from related sites.
