I have used both. AMY is better. It offers thousands of more article directories and has better custom tools for your use.

If you want only Article marketing then amr will be better.

But in magic subimitter you will have Web 2.0,bookmark,videos,directories..

In my opinion you should get both,but start with Amr if you want fast results,and later buy magic subimitter to get more sources of links.

how good would you rate both tools in terms of efficiency and speed, what are the posting/submitting success rates like?

Magic submiter still buggy and messy. I had a better % with AMR.
