I'm trying to get a general feel for what I should be doing in regards to my site being taken from #1 position to no where after blasting with scrapebox. I was blasting inner pages to rank them and now EVERYTHING is gone...it's been weeks since that blast. The competition is not very high...but I was having trouble ranking the inner pages so I blasted them. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I just keep blasting the s**t out of my site until it shows up again?

I bought scrapebox...so I'd like to keep using it. As far as I can see there are sooo many people using this software.

Is there really a penalty for using this software? I saw other threads on this topic but I never really found an answer. F*****g Google...

you should not blast your main site, but only the page or another blog that link to your site.

A blast using Scrapebox may not magically shoot your site to the top straight away. It is a matter of using Scrapebox in a manner that makes your link building look natural.
For instance don't just blast the main url instead build a sort of link wheel.

Write a few articles and submit them to places such as Ezine Articles and then use this url or better still create hub pages or a squidoo lens and then direct your article links to these and then blast the urls of your hub pages or squidoo lens. You get the idea? you have to create a mini link wheel and not just one.

Further to this have a variation of ******** and nofollow links you don't want all ******** links as this will not be natural.
Do some profile link building.
Use good proxies.
Use good spun comments.

The exact same thing happened to me. I was blasting internal pages too. Currently my site ranks in the 200-400 range. It has been 2-3 weeks now.
Any further linking seems to make things even worse in my case. I just hope it will come back some day I'm missing it... :D

I keep seeing these threads and I do not get it. People seem frivolous with their main site, especially with scrapebox.

if your site was ranked #1 and dissapppeared after an SB blast do you think its wise to continue that?

Just think of BH tactics like gambling. Don't risk what your not willing to lose. Its easy enough to SB lander sites and if things dont work out they are expendable.

You better really know what your doing if you start blasting with your money site as the link.

Your site will come back eventually, and when it does, it will be even better off than before you blasted it. Personally though I don't usually recommend blasting your site directly with "spam" type links like blog comments or profile links, you may want to consider using some sort of Web2.0 sites as "buffers"

Why did you suddenly decide to blast a site that is in the no 1 spot?

stability?

OP should hit up social networking sites and hit those, and maybe spread some external links on your main page to sites that aren't going to affect your ranking (google, ask, amazon, ebay, etc but without use of affiliate links) and put them in the footer..

when i've blasted closed loop sites, or used closed loop sites to blast existing domains that already rank i've ALWAYS been negatively affected, but over time it came back, just have to maintain what you are doing and dont do it once and then stop, maybe you did too much, do less daily but more duration, that's what i've learned with my high competition domain terms in the last few weeks

If it works why fix it. Your site was ranking #1? Set up another site for alt keywords and leave well enough alone.

my experience, slow down, but keep building links, preferably quality over quantity.

I kept blasting one of my sites a while back & it took about 5 months for it come back.
