MSN Messenger Type Popup Windows

has anyone seen these? on some vid sites, ive seen these MSN Messenger Type Popup Windows appear in the bottom right corner of browser. now after some digging around i founf one that does the same at adultfriendfinder. but does anyone know how we can make one of these? reason i ask is i dont wanna use aff lol

I also made my own pop up like this based an the AFF one. It does not work on IE 6 or lower though as far as I know, so you will have to do a check first before firing it.

ok ive sussed how to edit the link in there. but what code do i use to add this pop up to my sites? where is the code i add? i changed my link in the test file if thats right. is there anything else i need to change to add my own link?

i think you just add the .js files to your directory, then add the code in the test.html file to your webpage. I havent set it up on an official site, i just ripped it from a page for future use.

are you running it localy or did you upload it to a website? It doesnt slide locally because of security settings..

why does it take so long to load the page? my site is fine without it but when added, the site takes alot longer to load?

and what is the exact piece of code i need to use on my sites. like ive uploaded the pop folder. but now i want to make it appear on homepage of my site which is a wordpress blog.

any ideas?

you guys should be able to just upload the code to your root directory. The slowdown is probably because you guys will have to edit the style.css as there are refererences to items that probably dont exist on your server. Just remove them. I did not check the style.css for consistencies before reuploading the zip file, I apologize for that.

actually i stole it from some guy that was trying to sell it without going through the BST procedures. I think he was trying to sell it via pm. I snatched that source code that was on his example page real quick. He didnt even encrypt it.

Its nothing new, but it is fancy.

Prolly stole it from me, i made a post about it here, if it was being sold via spam pm around the time they where switching on the LHC he prolly ripped my code from that site.

Ive been doing this a long time, its not bad works best on Messenger orientated websites, i also have ICQ, AIM, and Yahoo sitting somewhere

and my hard drive code has the backend script to track rotate avatars, and geo target

It was just a small project i played along with, i was going to implement it into the Virtual Agent System

It doesnt detect whether which program it is. But im sure i could add that, the one running on LHC is simple version, not gonna show main stuff until its perfected

That and i dont want people stealing parts of the code when its not 100% finished, i want to package it as Custom Virtual Agent

This script works for me.

Couple of questions...

Is there a way of tweaking it so each visitor only sees the pop-up once per day ?

What font/font size is used on the popup image ?
