Anyone know of a proxy that will allow me to access my cPanel from work? I can't get to it from behind this firewall and many proxy sites don't seem to allow form post.

Thanks.

Thanks, ape. So is this still possible even if I'm not allowed to install any programs on my 'work' computer?

Since you can't run your own check of the proxies you'll have to kind of wing it, but you can still take the IPs from the list in the second thread and just manual post them into the browser. Should still work, unless you have hella restrictions on your connection/router.

Best bet is the ones on uncommon ports (non-1080), and if you can't connect on anything with port 25552 or 11xxxx then skip those entirely.

OK, so I take a non-1080 proxy, I go into Firefox --> Tools --> Options --> Advanced --> Network --> Settings

Do I choose "Manual Proxy" and then check "Socks 5", then enter the Port?

Can't seem to get it to work. Thanks.

New version of cpanel have proxy built in by default unless server admin have disabled it. You can access cpanel with url - http://cpanel.yourdomain.extn, it also allow you to access web mail with webmail.yourdomain.extn

Hm. I'd say try a couple more, but you might just be hosed as far as Socks go. Crap.

OK, ape. PHP, I just tried that technique with my own domain and it doesn't seem to work. I will have to check when I get home and see if I have the latest version and if I have it enabled.

Also, I did find that hxxp://www.th*e-cl*oak.com/anon*ymous-surfing-home.html seems to work to a certain point. I can get into my cPanel that way, but I cannot access my webmail accounts with the free version.

D'oh!

have you tried a site like proxify (I am sure there are free ones out there. I know they have ssl support if that's an issue.
