Forget 'might now work'...
It WILL NOT WORK to give you a new IP address outside of the non-routable ranges that most routers use.
If you want a new IP outside of your own firewall/router/network, you're going to have to use a proxy of some sort.
That either works out to: very little $$, but LOTS of your own time & screwing around.
OR
Very little of your own time & screwing around , but SOME $$.
I ended up using hidemyip.com with premium proxies, after testing and deleting about a dozen alternatives (free and paid). It's about $30 to buy and $24 per quarter ($8 per month).
For $8 a month,

I'll pay up not to have to spend hours finding lists, installing them, finding out half are honeypots for viruses or dead already, etc., etc., etc.
