Justone - Great software, clean interface. Cool idea on using it to sell your proxies.

Unfortunately, I'm not your target audience as I have a proxy service and only have one article I really want to get onto the front page of Digg in a few months. Hopefully by then, there are some people in this thread who I can outsource this task to by requesting quotes in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I'll do that when I'm ready.

No worries, Digg is not saturated.
The bot will not harm Digg, I still have some control over it and could stop its use in case.

so this will send fake traffic to any site? If i get 300 proxies? Will they harm my pc's? can i get in trouble? and how long will they last for? Also, how many different sites can I blast traffic to? I will spend the $$ to get proxies as long as it lasts me

Yes you need to create a free account to use the bot.
There is no cost involved, this is mainly to track the use and have a possibility to stop the use of the bot if it is required.

The Tiny Digg Bot is not a fake traffic tool.
It's a premium tool to inject links into Digg and vote for them using one or many accounts which are proper managed and can be automatically created.

There is no harm done to your PC and the only trouble you can get is if you do illegal stuff with it (distributing warez links, harassment and similar illegal activities).

For each account you can submit 5 links per day to Digg, that's the limit.
One proxy/IP is one account.
So for the most basic use you don't need proxies, you can use the bot to manage your personal links or vote on stories you like.
For advanced use you'll need more than one account.

i created a free account but it wont let me login...any ideas? i used a gmail account though im thinking i need some proxies anyway so may get a package off you any ideas?

Hi,
You use the API ID and hash as login/password.
When you log into your account you can see the two values in your profile.

doesn't work? I tried mass registration and it said aborted, should wait 12 hours to cool down. But the problem is that it never signed up for an account at all. I'm trying it with just my own ip of course.

Hi CyHead.
In your account list it wrote something about the account it created and possible problems during creation.
Usually the cooldown delay only happens if the account was created successfully otherwise it allows more tries.

You still need to click the verification link you receive per email, maybe that's the reason.
But in that case the account list will tell you this when you try to use it.

justone, I'm thinking of using your software and proxies to help me index some links. I have about 1000 links recording in speadsheets from web 2.0 properties and angela type profiles which have not been crawled or indexed. It would be great to use your tool to automate the link building to them. I'm not in a rush to get this done, so do you think it would be possible to get every URL indexed by purchasing 5 proxies (IE 5x5 submissions a day for 40 days?).

Have you had any experience indexing links like this?

You can index 25 links per day when using 5 accounts.
So if you do it daily you should be finished in 40 days.

You need to export or change your excel format so it is a proper list that can be loaded by the Digg Bot.
For the best results you'll create a full detail list (URL, TOPIC, TITLE, DESCRIPTION), you can leave TITLE and DESCRIPTION away, in that case the bot will ask Digg to download these details from your meta-information but that doesn't work always due to Digg having timeouts or the information missing.

greenleaf: do yourself a favor and read the site (tdb.squabbel.com) instead of asking others to read for you.

you need to register a (free) account to use the bot.
You will use the API USERID and API PASSWORD as login / password.

Maybe you used a wrong userid or accidentially your email address as userid.

Thanks for your reply justone. Have you had any experience indexing links like this? I understand that the upcoming section is nofollow, but still effective at getting links indexed - is that right? And also, would I not risk getting the accounts banned if I make 5 submissions from each account, every day?

The last time I had a site uploaded on Digg it was indexed within minutes in Google, I think their nofollow change has been in place for a longer time and doesn't seem to affect it. Maybe someone else knows details ?

5 submissions per account per day is indeed a lot, personally I'd use more accounts simply because it's a lot of work to just do it 5-submission steps

But in general I think it won't be a problem, you can get them banned but it won't affect the sites you submitted. They usually stay in place.
Just make sure you don't upload stuff that is against their rules (porn, warez, etc)

I was looking to get a list of about 1000 Angela type profiles indexed, and if successful perhaps another 2000 forum profiles. I guess I could give it a try and see how effective it is.

Nearly impossible to patch that without restricting digg for everyone.
They mainly rely on the captcha, most people can't get through that.

You can usually digg a lot on a single account, I know about no limit.
When submitting URLs the max should be 5 per day and account.

The main reason for banning when using a bot is that people try to push to the Frontpage without using their brain. Frontpage is moderated.

It can get you on the frontpage if you have an acceptable "story" and if you invest time into the accounts to make them look distinct.
Of course clearly artificial accounts or an obvious advertisement digg won't make it through the moderation

Try to think outside your own wishes, what would happen to Digg if any low quality public proxies would start to hammer it ten thousands of diggs every hour ?
"We" managed to kill any good working method, think about cookie st. eWho*, think about craigslist, think about email marketing (now called spam and known by every internet user).

The same would happen to Digg if such tools were public AND uncontrolled.

Sorry for those who could not download it in the past 24 hours.
I've had a server update and accidentially the download was inaccessible.

The download works again!
The Digg bot also works, I've just recently made a full test to see if anything changed after other digg bots stopped working.
automated account creation, captcha solving, submission and digging all is still working fine.

Justone, just to make you aware the bot is now showing a virus by kapersky.

The virustotal was 100% clean for me till today. Now its not because of what kapersky is detecting. Just to let you know.
